Training level program providing a foundation for choral and vocal instruction for children ages 7-8. Children receive an introduction to basic choral singing and perform two to three times a year in combination with the next level choir. Arioso

Children, ages 9-11, learn music reading skills through singing activities that teach them to read rhythms, use solfege (do, re, mi, fa, sol, la, ti, do) for accurate aural and vocal pitch production, learn musical terms, and study musical forms in a fun, supportive environment. Performances are planned for two to three times a year including experiences with the Center Chorale at the Center for the Arts, Escondido. Coro Vivo

This program will provide boys and girls ages 12-18 with an opportunity to learn vocal training, music theory and part-singing. They will sing both classical and contemporary music written by master composers. Performing in a variety of styles from folk music to Mozart, the students will grow in a choral setting to be respected as young artists and perform with professional musicians. Performances are planned for at least two to three times a year at the Center for the Arts, Escondido, as well as possible community venues. Rehearsals: Mondays, 5:15-6:30 PM, CCAE Studio One Theater Conductor - Katy Lundeen
